James Williams was born and raised on the south side of Chicago IL. He attended Gage Park High School before joining the Army as an Infantry soldier. His travels have taken him from Chicago, to Georgia, Germany and many other ststes for training and countries for deployments. He returned from Korea and settled in Tacoma, WA where he attended Clover Park Tech and Bates Technical College for Nursing. He continued to work as a Nursing Assistant and ultimately an Institutional Counselor at Western State Hospital for over 10 years. He continues to work at various Virginia Mason hospitals currently as a Med/Surg assistant, and writing along the way.
